We have recently brought a play system that includes a climbing frame from the great selection of climbing frames that Rainbow Play systems offers, they are great and what a selection – ok sorry enough of the plug – I don’t work for them honestly! What I really wanted to blog about is getting back to your child hood. We both work from home and now that we have had the play system / slide /climbing frame installed I decided to have a go when no one was looking – put on my track suit and thought I would see what all the fuss was about – and well it was fantastic. We used to have an adventure play ground near my child hood home in Buckinghamshire – you won’t find them anywhere now that the health and safety people have got their hands on them and shut them down but I used to love spending the long summer days there risking my neck on the death slides. Anyhow I spent nearly four hours! Jumping up and down on the trampoline or climbing like a crazed monkey on the climbing frame part of the play system – I think the neighbours either side must’ve though I was a loony but I tell you what I felt blooming brilliant and was chuckling to myself the whole of the four hours plus it was a good workout too!!
